Hi all, I apologize for my untimely replies. First off, a little addendum; I dislike it when people do not differentiate between Type I diabetes, which I have, and Type II diabetes, which is entirely different. Obviously, I am a hypocrite as I didn't bother here.

On to comments! I like how Jill does the format, so that's how it'll go.

SJ - I let Jill know about your peaceful sleeping (no, not really.) As for your suggestion, it sent me into hours of thinking about the logistics of putting my pump in my hair. It got very complicated, but that's how I roll.

DJ Kirkby - I'm glad it all makes sense! It would be good if I educated myself on what other countries are like in terms of their methods and materials dealing with type I diabetes. I just had a thought that it might be the companies in the country slightly influencing what people use. Not in a dirty, backalley way, maybe partly for patrionism, but that how it's presented, in a familiar way, makes it more appealing to the citizen. Or maybe they just haven't really spread over there, or the doctors aren't pushing it as a good option on their patients. All thatfor sure wasn't relevant to your comment, but I had to get it out. ALF - My pies are so delicious, if I carry one of them around to hold my pump, and not let anyone eat it, there will be bedlam, beginning with a stampede of people my way and ending with me lying on the ground, trampled, my pie dish in shards, and people on their hands and knees gobbling up the pie splats on the ground. Beth - I'll totally make you one. Set the date and I'll be there. As for your idea, I've never thought of doing that at all, whatever I'm wearing. I'll have to try it, see if it works out. I may have to get a thing to make it work though. Eh, I don't know. <3

Aha, now it all makes sense. I don't think they use pumps a lot over here in England, though I remember someone who had an insulin pump many years ago in Canada. Sorry but I have no bright ideas for where you can hide your pump if you are braless though.
